The Sure Word for Today: God Is Awesome.
Reaching A Decision: Utilising Information. — Part 1.
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good [a]success.
Joshua 1:8 (Amplified Bible)
The book of the Law is the Holy Bible. From the Book of the Law, you gather relevant information needed in that particular area in your life that needs improvement. You meditate on it, put it to work, not just leaving it on the bookshelf, but you work with it day and night. You become very conscious of the information you have acquired, and you will use the information to inform your decision. You utilise the information only by its application. The result then will be glaring. You will make your way prosperous, and not just this alone, but you will deal wisely and have success. Success is as a result of wise dealing.
Anytime I read this passage I observe that God is not making your way prosperous, but you are. God has created a system, all you need to do is to apply the system, and you will acquire prosperity.
Looking out for information that will interest and benefit your agenda is your sole responsibility. It is an excellent practice to build your library. You must study to show yourself approved. Education opens doors and gives you the advantage to create your opportunities in life. Until you apply what you know, you know nothing.
When faced with a problem that warrants you to make and reach a decision, it is advisable that you look at the overall problems as well as the specific details when searching for the solution. Before you feed information into the decision-making process, you need to organise and check it thoroughly.
2Timothy 2:15 (ISV) “Do your best to present yourself to God as an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision.”
The information you have should be investigated and handled with precision. Precision means accuracy, exactitude, care, meticulousness and with correctness. The lessons of life have indicated you do not want to take things for granted, so you are not grounded.
