We are all making choices all the time. These choices are very important and valuable even if they seem to be little or simple at the time. They have the power to determine your future or your purpose in life.

When you choose not to choose you have just made a choice not to choose. It is our choices that determine our experiences.  The choices we are making today will show up in our experiences in the future. The choices will make today will determine how we live tomorrow. You can change your future by the choices you make today. You have been given the choice to make a choice. Unless you are willing to take full responsibility for yourself and the choices you make, you have no control over your live.  You have been given all the power to create your experiences through your choices, but if you believe that outside forces are responsible for your choices then you have virtually succeeded in giving away all the power you have.

By having the choice to make a choice you’re a very powerful force to be reckon with. Sometimes making the right choice or even knowing how to choose is very difficult, but it is vitally important to understand that you are in charge of your own life if you chose to think for yourself.  If you chose not to take charge, you will experience the consequences of that choice, and simply be blown about by life like a leaf in the wind. A choice is an act not an art. It is an act of choosing between two or more possibilities. There is so much danger in an act. It is procedural and hence has excessive limitations. This is the very reason most people miss it all together because it becomes boring.

To act is to behave in a certain way. An act is pretence. An act is also a performance. So you’re just acting. It could be real or it could be fun. And that is where the danger lies because you don’t take it serious. This is why so many people become lazy in being actors for their choices. They leave their choice to chance and with chance they have no guarantee. An ACT is to take action, to do something even if it is just for doing sake. In an ACT you behave in a certain way and sometimes it involves pretence. ACT is the process of doing things formally and this could become religious and lead to frustration and failure.

Every day we are faced with different choices in our life. These choices can make us, keep us or destroy us. Before you accept the choices you make, you will reach a position where you will make judgment after extensive consideration. This position is called decision. Decision is the act of making up your mind to accept and carryout the choices you make. Making decision is never easy. It is one of the most difficult tasks you’re faced with. There are times you have to make that decision in a split second. The process is so tough that you may seem to be in bondage but the moment you make it even if it is a wrong one, you feel some sort of relieve, there is this underlining freedom within you. Just imagine what was going through the mind of King Solomon when he had to make a decision on what to do with a child that was being fought for by two women. Or imagine when Jesus was asked to comment on the woman caught in the act of adultery. He knew it was a trap and how can he get out of this one? This is the point it became an art.

An ART is the expression of your creative skill and imagination. It is being skilful, creative and focus. It is a conscious production where you don’t just think it, but it flows out with the decision based on the circumstances in hand.

King Solomon was absolutely skilful with his tricks when he made the decision to split a child into two. Jesus Christ was amazingly skilful when he rescued a woman that would have been stoned to death because she was accused of committing adultery and also stand the danger of being stoned because he failed the law. One thing common between King Solomon and Jesus is in the fact they both meditated their action. They were both creative and skilful in implementing their decision. Meditation enables you to observe and to do. It is in doing that you make. The action of creativity is as a result of doing. Meditation enables you to do the things that will make you to have prosperity and not just any kind of success but a good success. This means there are different levels and types of success. There are successes that are not profitable and there are ones that announces you.

No matter what your present circumstances are, your hurts, your moral failures, your internal struggles, you have the creative power to meditate your way out of every predicament. I degree that the Spirit of God will empower you to yield to your supernaturally implanted appetites and rise above the situation you face at the moment because you’re more than a conqueror and I know you will be above only no matter what is trying to drag you down. You have a choice to make. There is a decision you will have to make that will rescue you from whatever predicament you’re facing. The decision is a choice.

Making decision that works in your life should become a skill. You need to be in it and express yourself through it just like King Solomon and Jesus Christ did. They never held back, they express themselves even when people think their pattern was senseless and foolish, the result was instant and it was a positive outcome.

Learning to make timely and well-considered decisions enables you to be able to lead your team to spectacular and well-deserved success. However, if you make poor decisions, your team risks failure and your time as a leader will, most likely, be brutally short. You need to understand that the team here does not necessary mean only people, the rest of the parts of your body: your mind, your ears, your eyes, your tongue, your heart, your hands, your legs, etc. known as members of your body are also your team.

Enlightenment, explanation, illumination and clarification is man’s emergence from his self-imposed immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use your understanding without guidance from another. This immaturity is self-imposed when its cause lies not in the lack of understanding, but in the lack of resolve and courage to use it without guidance from another. Have courage to use your own understanding! Enlightenment means taking full responsibility for your life. This is the very first part in making the right decision. You must be enlightened; you must be able to give explanation and clarity for the choices you make.

The reason many people are immature is because they are lazy and also they are cowards. Note that it is so convenient to be immature. It involves taking no risk but little do people who are immature realize that their daily living is in danger. They fear to take risk but they end up endangering their future. All you need to become enlightened is be continually conscious. The practice of prolonging our conscious state (into the dream state, as well) will not give us the power to control the material world. It will, however, give us the power to be absolutely free from the material world.

Being enlightened is not a special state of mind; it is our original nature, our natural awareness of things without a notion of separateness of identity from the world around us. In short, this is the state of mind we were in before the universe came to be. This is not as difficult as one might think. You take yourself with you wherever you go. If you can’t find it where you are right now, where do you expect to wander in search of it? This is very important and vital. Remember you take your real you wherever you go. You’re your own key to absolute freedom. Don’t hide the key in a closet; use the key to unlock your destiny. Stop procrastinating and make that one decision that could transform your life. What are you waiting for?
