If you chose not to take charge, you will experience the consequences of that choice, and simply be blown about by life like a leaf in the wind. A choice is an act not an art. It is an act of choosing between two or more possibilities. There is so much danger in an act. It is procedural and hence has excessive limitations. This is the very reason most people miss it all together because it becomes boring.
To act is to behave in a certain way. An act is pretence. An act is also a performance. So you’re just acting. It could be real or it could be fun. And that is where the danger lies because you don’t take it serious. This is why so many people become lazy in being actors for their choices. They leave their choice to chance and with chance they have no guarantee. An ACT is to take action, to do something even if it is just for doing sake. Learning to make timely and well-considered decisions enables you to be able to lead your team to spectacular and well-deserved success. However, if you make poor decisions, your team risks failure and your time as a leader will, most likely, be brutally short. You need to understand that the team here does not necessary mean only people, the rest of the parts of your body: your mind, your ears, your eyes, your tongue, your heart, your hands, your legs, etc. known as members of your body are also your team.
Enlightenment, explanation, illumination and clarification is man’s emergence from his self-imposed immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use your understanding without guidance from another.
