The Sure Word for Today's quotation for the week:
God Said, Let there Be Light.
The Power of Affirmation — Part 7.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8 4:17 (KJV).
The benefits of positive affirmation are endless. I say so because it is life. The word I speak are spirit and they are life. Affirmation makes you come alive. It recreates and regenerates. It breathes hope and fresh vitality. It makes you awake. I said positive affirmation because every word that comes out of your mouth is a prayer, it is a confession, it is a declaration, it is a testament, it is a testimony, and it is an affirmation. As such, you ought to be careful of the words you speak because your word has the power to make or destroy you.
There are many traditions in Christianity you might not understand. Christianity is very orderly and organise. It is not about starting or having a church. It goes more than that. The Hebrew word ‘Palal’ means ‘to pray’ from the parent root PL which means “Speak to Authority.”
The parent root letters being the picture of a mouth and the picture of a staff. The mouth, in this case, representing speaking, and the staff meaning authority- (hence modern-day monarchs holding a sceptre or bishops a crozier). I want to concentrate on speaking without authority. Prayer is any word you speak. When you pray to God, then you are speaking to one in authority. There is the power of life and death in every word you speak (prayer). Your comments, your discussions, your conversations are all your prayer.
Finally, this is what you have been missing in your life. You spend time thinking about things that will not add positivity to your life. The remedy to all your problems in life is simple. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honourable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
I am superior to negative thoughts and low actions. I possess the qualities needed to be extremely successful. I radiate beauty, charm, and grace. Amen!
