The Sure Word for Today's quotation for the week:
God Has Enlarged My Steps.
The Investment Mindset — Part 7.
Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
Ecclesiastes 11:1 (KJV).
The first basic rule of investing is that any time is a good time to invest, but the best time is always today. There's no reason to delay because the earlier you start, the bigger your returns. You don't have to wait for the perfect condition to begin investing. When it comes to investing, it's not "timing the market" but your "time in the market" that's more important. Here is a word of caution, though. The first investment is in yourself. You need to develop the investment mindset, and today is the time to start that journey.
If you would like to know how to change your mindset about money, you have to be open to deliberately altering the way you think about money. It can help you make a real financial change. Your mindset affects your outlook on life, how you spend or save money, how you feel about yourself, and how you deal with stresses in life. If you want to change your mindset, you have first to identify the type of money mindset you are operating. Once you identify your money mindset, you can begin to pick a new affirmation deliberately. You need to remove limiting beliefs so you will be open to all aspects of making money.
If you are terrible with money and have said so before, I believe you are, and I am happy for you because you have identified one of your many money issues. It would help if you started looking for the solution to your peculiar problem. There are lots of materials out there. Stop being lazy and get yourself educated and start handling money like a superstar. Numerous entrepreneurs jump into business without considering the mind-limiting beliefs that they have. Quite often, they are not aware of the assumptions that hold them back until they are ingrained into their sales activities.
Thoughts lead to feelings, and feelings lead to actions. Actions lead to results. If your motivation for securing money or success comes from a nonsupportive root such as anger, fear, or the need to "prove" yourself, your money will never bring you happiness. Your income can grow only to the extent that you do.
