Healthy Conflict Resolution| Part 7

The Sure Word Devotion
Day 7: Protect Peace Daily
Peace must be protected daily because conflict resolution is not only about ending arguments. It is about building a marriage where love, respect, humility, and understanding can continue to grow. Every home will face disagreement, but not every disagreement must become division. Peace is protected when husband and wife choose maturity before tension becomes damage.

Protecting peace means you pay attention to your habits. Do you speak gently? Do you repair quickly? Do you listen before defending? Do you forgive sincerely? Do you stop anger before it becomes sin? Peace does not survive by accident. It grows when both hearts value the marriage more than pride, winning, silence, or revenge. A peaceful marriage is not conflict-free. It is a marriage where conflict is handled with wisdom.

Today, choose one peace-protecting habit and practise it deliberately. Lower your tone. Apologise quickly. Refuse harsh words. Listen fully. Forgive without weaponising the past. Pray before speaking. Do not wait for crisis before you practise peace. Let your daily choices make your marriage safer, calmer, and stronger. Love protects peace because peace protects the home.
