Day 1: Seek God First
Priorities become clearer when God comes first. Life can quickly become crowded with responsibilities, ambitions, family needs, work demands, financial pressure, and personal goals. None of these things are automatically wrong, but when they take first place, the heart can become anxious and direction can become confused.
Seeking God first means allowing His kingdom and righteousness to shape your choices. It means asking what honours Him before asking what benefits you. It means giving prayer, truth, obedience, and godly values the highest place in your daily decisions. When God is first, everything else can be assessed more wisely. Your goals, relationships, schedule, money, work, and ambitions begin to find their proper order.
Today, examine what currently receives your first attention. Is it pressure, money, achievement, fear, or God? Choosing God first does not mean neglecting responsibility. It means handling responsibility from the right centre. When your heart is rightly ordered, your priorities become clearer. Seek God first, and let His wisdom guide what deserves your time, energy, and attention.
