The Sure Word for Today

Walking in boldness and confidence means living free from the grip of self-doubt trusting fully in the strength and purpose God has given you. David, the shepherd boy who became king, exemplified this. When faced with Goliath, he did not see his size or youth as limitations but trusted in the power of God within him. Like David, you can confront life's giants with courage, knowing that God equips you for every challenge. Your confidence stems from His promises, not your circumstances.

Boldness comes from knowing who you are in Christ and embracing the talents and gifts He has given you. As you step out in faith, remember that God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). This truth allows you to move forward with assurance, understanding that your strength comes from God. When you rely on Him, you can walk confidently into any situation, fully equipped for the journey ahead.

Living with confidence also means being unafraid to shine the light of Christ in every area of your life. Just as Esther boldly approached the king to save her people, you are called to step into your purpose with courage. Your boldness not only impacts your life but also inspires others to trust God and embrace their unique calling. As you walk confidently, you become a testament to God's power working through you, transforming doubts into a bold declaration of faith.

I realise that walking in boldness and confidence means trusting in God's plan for my life. Like David, I choose to focus on the strength and gifts God has given me, not on my limitations or fears.

Extend

Consider Isaiah 41:10, where God commands, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." This verse reassures me that God's presence gives me the confidence to face any challenge.

Reflection And Application

Reflect on the areas in your life where you've held back due to fear. How can you step out in boldness this week, trusting that God's strength will carry you through every challenge?

Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the boldness and confidence You've placed within me. Help me to live each day trusting in Your strength and wisdom, not relying on my understanding. When I face challenges, it reminds me of David's courage and Esther's boldness. Let Your truth guide my thoughts and actions, replacing any fear or doubt with faith and assurance. I commit my life and purpose into Your hands, knowing that You have equipped me for every task ahead. In Jesus' name, Amen.
