The Sure Word for Today

Anxiety can strike suddenly, leaving you crippled with fear and doubt. In these moments, faith in God becomes your anchor. Faith doesn't erase the fear, but it allows you to confront it. Just as Gideon trembled before the battle, questioning his ability, God reminded him of His promise. You, too, may doubt in times of anxiety, but trusting God's plan will help you move forward, even when fear overwhelms your heart. He has never forsaken you.

Fear tries to control your life, often making you doubt God's presence. But through faith, you learn to release control and trust that God is already working behind the scenes. Gideon, though afraid, stepped out in faith because he knew God was with him. When you are paralysed by fear, remember that faith is your shield. It will not take away the anxiety, but it will empower you to face it and find peace in God's unfailing love.

Like Gideon, you may face moments when fear seems more substantial than your faith, but God uses those moments to strengthen you. When you hand over your fears to God, He takes your weakness and turns it into strength. Trust Him with your worries, knowing that His faithfulness is more significant than any fear. Lean into His presence, and let faith rise above the fear that holds you back.
