"The Abundance of the Free Favour of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19
Hi Visitor,
Purpose is not only found in where you are going—it is developed through what you are going through. Joseph dreamed of leadership but was sold into slavery, wrongfully imprisoned, and forgotten. Yet each step, no matter how painful, was shaping him. By the time he stood before Pharaoh, Joseph was not just positioned—he was prepared. Your process may feel slow or unfair, but it is building the character required to carry your calling.
Too often, the focus is only on the destination: the title, the platform, the achievement. But God is more interested in who you are becoming along the way. The waiting, the stretching, the refining—all of it is purposeful. Nothing is wasted when you walk with intention. Even setbacks serve as preparation. Every delay has the potential to deepen your insight, sharpen your focus, and increase your endurance.
Do not despise the process. Embrace it. Learn from it. Trust that what you are going through is not random—it is preparing you for what you were born to do. The road to purpose is rarely straight, but it is always strategic. The process is where your strength is built, and your assignment becomes clear.
Reflect on a time when you felt stuck, delayed, or overlooked. Now, think about what you learned during that season—about yourself, your values, or your direction. That difficult chapter was not a waste; it was a workshop. Purpose often grows in the places you least expect. Let that truth remind you to honour the season you are in now, even if it feels slow or unclear.
Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness before leading Israel. David served in obscurity before becoming king. Jesus spent 30 years in preparation for a 3-year public ministry. The Bible makes it clear: the process matters. God is not just preparing the path for you—He is preparing you for the path. Stay faithful in the unseen work. The purpose is to form beneath the surface.
Write down what season you are currently in: preparation, transition, or fulfilment. Then, list three things this season is teaching you. What skills, character traits, or insights are you developing? Celebrate that growth. The purpose is not just about arriving—it is about evolving. Keep showing up. Your process is part of your purpose.
"The process is not punishment—it is preparation. Who you become on the journey determines how well you carry the purpose of waiting at your destination."
May God bless your heart with patience and allow you to trust the process you are walking through. May He give you wisdom to see growth in the struggle, purpose in the pressure, and strength in the delay. Let each day of your journey shape you with grace, clarity, and courage. May your faith remain firm, knowing that your path is preparing you for greatness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
