"The Abundance of the Free Favour of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19
Hi Visitor,
Overcoming your shortcomings is not a destination; it is a daily walk with God. You may have victories today, but tomorrow will still require faith, discipline, and humility. That is why your source of strength must be greater than yourself.
2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us that God’s grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness. This means you do not have to be flawless to make progress; you just need to stay connected to the One who is flawless.
Daily prayer, reading God’s Word, and staying accountable to others keep your steps steady. When you stumble, grace picks you up. When you feel weak, His strength sustains you. When you feel unworthy, His love reminds you that you are already chosen and empowered.
Your shortcomings lose their power when you continually rely on God’s presence. He turns weakness into testimony, struggles into strength, and limitations into opportunities for His glory.
Think about a time when God’s grace carried you through a challenge you could not overcome on your own. What did that experience teach you about His faithfulness?
End each day by thanking God for how far you have come and asking for strength for the next step.
List three areas where you will lean on God’s grace daily to keep overcoming your shortcomings.
"Your shortcomings are no match for God’s grace. Keep walking with Him, and He will turn every weakness into a testimony of His strength."
Lord, I thank You for being my strength and my guide. Help me to walk daily in Your grace and lean on You in every weakness. Let my life bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
