Day 6: Holding On When Quitting Seems Easier

The greatest test of perseverance comes when quitting feels easier than pressing forward. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Perseverance is choosing to keep going even when the weight of discouragement tells you to stop.

Elijah felt so weary under the pressure of his calling that he asked God to take his life. Yet God restored him with food, rest, and encouragement to continue his mission. His story shows that moments of weakness do not disqualify you, they are opportunities for God to strengthen you.

Today, when quitting feels easier, remember that perseverance brings the reward. Do not surrender your purpose for temporary relief. Hold on, for the season of reaping always comes to those who refuse to give up.
