Day 3: Faith Gives Strength to Endure Hardship

Faith gives you the strength to stand firm when hardship feels unbearable. Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Faith does not remove challenges, it gives you the power to rise above them.

Job lost everything yet refused to curse God. His faith sustained him when nothing else made sense. Though surrounded by pain and loss, he held onto trust, and that endurance led him to restoration. Faith becomes your anchor in the storm, keeping you steady when everything else shakes.

Today, let faith be your source of strength. When life feels heavy, remind yourself that God is still with you. The strength to endure comes from believing that no hardship can outlast divine help.

Connect: Your Challenge and Response

Your challenge may be struggling to believe when hardship feels endless. Your response must be to lean on faith, trusting that unseen strength is carrying you through every storm.

Extend: Faith in Action

When hardship comes, declare God’s promises out loud. Speak faith over your situation and remind yourself daily that His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

Reflect on a moment when faith carried you through difficulty. How did that experience shape your confidence in God’s ability to sustain you today?
