Day 4: Surrendering Control to Gain Strength

True strength is found in surrender. Second Corinthians 12:9 reminds you, “My grace is sufficient for thee.” Surrender is not weakness; it is wisdom. It means releasing the pressure to solve everything alone and allowing God to work in places your strength cannot reach. When you let go of control, you open the door for divine intervention. Power flows where pride is absent.

Peter experienced this truth. When he tried to walk on water in his own strength, fear overwhelmed him. But the moment he surrendered and cried out for help, Jesus lifted him. His breakthrough came not from trying harder but from trusting deeper. Surrender invites strength that is greater than your own.

Today, loosen your grip. When you surrender the struggle, divine strength becomes your support.

Let Us Pray

Lord, teach me to surrender what I cannot carry. Help me to release control and rest in Your strength. Lift every burden that weighs my heart and empower me to walk in courage, peace, and confidence. Strengthen me where I am weak and guide me with grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
