It’s about forgiving yourself for not knowing what that experience taught you. When you think of a past event and have regrets that you should’ve made a different choice, know that you learned from that event.
The journey to self-discovery begins with the question “Who am I?” Who are you? What brings you joy? What are you most afraid of? What feelings are leading you right now? At this stage, you will no longer bother about your flaws because you have come to understand and embrace the fact you are who you are because of your good and ugliest personalities. The moment you can embrace the totality of you, it brings you a great sense of pride and fulfilment because, without the good, the bad, and the ugliest of you, there is no you.
You must accept and love yourself for who you are. You must teach yourself how to support and love yourself. Stop allowing the views of people who know little about you to matter. Admit the condition you are and move on. Acceptance builds your confidence and self-esteem. Love is loud and infectious; it stands out. Love yourself and others will love you. No one will love you more than you love yourself. Take ownership of yourself, your thoughts, and your mind. Make sure there’s nothing anyone can do or say that can take you away from YOU. Always upgrade to be the best of you.
