Many of us do not survive the game of life because we are not aware that life is a game and that there are rules and laws.

Listen to the audio.

It is vital to have the correct attitude toward everything because you are a player in the field of life's game. You need to be as positive and dedicated as possible to fully master your skills. You need to be calm and composed when under pressure to keep control of the moment you're in.

You also need a positive attitude to succeed in every aspect of your life—relationships, business, education, and everything that concerns you. You're a player. Your attitude determines everything. Attitude isn't just about whether you're having a good or bad day. Attitude is more than that. It a¬ffects relationships. It affects career. It a¬ffects your entire future. The game of life encompasses everything about life. The game relates to everything, even the things you don't know. It is about life and how you can overcome adversity and stay focused to achieve your goals.

Perfect Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. When you want results, you must learn to prepare and be patient in your dealings. Impatience is based on fear. Impatience leads to hurriedness. Hurry makes you anxious, and being anxious affects your blood pressure, consequently causing medical issues. Feeling hurried can put you under a lot of pressure; hence, not completing tasks can make you unproductive.

One of the essential guides you need to succeed in the game of life is patience. Patience is not the opposite of impatient. Patience is the ability to be calm in adversity, frustration, or suffering. Impatience is never productive in any scenario. With the current shape of the world due to IoT (Internet of things), patience seems outdated. But this is not the case.

Patience is enormous because you require specific skills to be patient. You need self-control to control your reactions to the situation and endure it without complaint. You need humility to accept that you are no more important than anyone else, and there is no particular reason why you should not wait. You need the generosity to smile at the world even when it seems the world has joined with the enemy to conspire against you.

What about the guide on failing and making mistakes? You will remember when I informed you that I have a PhD degree in failure and making mistakes. Failure is part of the game of life. You will fail no matter how intelligent you think you are. Failing doesn't necessarily mean you are a failure. Making mistakes doesn't mean you are not authentic. Failure and mistakes are both feedback; they are both my mentors.

Failure is also a part of our life. It is not an easy job to face failure, but we will face it no matter what. It is our capacity that makes us able to bear life's challenges. If we assume that failure is a ladder to the success we desire, we must appreciate and take it seriously.

In my book series "Football and Life," I draw inspiration from the game of football, where tactics, team formation, technical strength of the team, set plays, wrong calls and whatever the game offers could be applied to our lives, so we can be winners in every aspect. "The Winning Mentality" gives you that ability to focus on your own game no matter the challenges and the wrong calls against you. People may cheat you; they could kick you from behind, and you might get carded for the wrongs others do to you. These are typical life experiences we might face. You must challenge yourself to be on top of your game no matter the situation, and by so doing, you will be a winner.

To win is not about being nice, and it's not a quick-fix technique. It is a character-based code for human interaction and collaboration. The fact is that most of us learn to base self-worth on comparisons and competition. We think about succeeding in terms of someone else failing. That is, if I win, you lose. Life becomes a zero-sum game. There is only so much pie to go around, and there is less for me if you get a big piece. It's not fair, and I'm going to make sure you don't get any more. We all play the game, but how much fun is it really?

Life is about sacrifices. There is no decision a person can make that doesn't come with balance or sacrifice. I've learned that there is sacrifice no matter what path you choose. Sacrifice is temporarily putting up with something you don't want now because it serves the greater good. Many parents sacrifice the role they desire in a job so they can be around to guide their children in a direction until they reach a certain age.

In my Mastermind Mentoring Class and the Virtual Mentoring Academy with Robust Digital Expert, 98% of candidates are parents who are now trying to find their path back to the dream they sacrificed while bringing up a child or children. Most times, these children never know the amount of sacrifice made on their behalf.

If you are struggling financially, it is not too late to enrol in a career development program that will increase your financial worth by over 300% in a year. You need to start playing for it, though. If you want to find out more about our programs, I will leave a contact form for you to fill and one of our career advisors will get in touch. I believe you can be all you want to be if you plan to be it. The truth is, with sacrifice, you can achieve your dreams and goals.

The program is not easy because it is a fast track. Too many things happen simultaneously, and it becomes too easy to give up. What are you willing to sacrifice today to make your future all you dream about? If you want the results, you have no option but to sacrifice.

Are you a player in the game of life? Is life something to enjoy or to suffer? Is life something we play to win, to lose, or neither? Do we have to take it seriously? Does it have rules? Does it have an aim, intention, and purpose? Is life a game? Yes. Life is a game, and in a game, you are not always sure of the outcome—no matter how you prepare. You prepare because it gives you a chance to win.

Another set of skills you need is creativity and imagination. Creativity requires passion and commitment. It brings to our awareness what was previously hidden and points to new life. By altering your lifestyle and changing your belief system, you can become more creative and innovative—even if you currently lack both attributes. To be creative, you need to adjust your mindset. Imagination makes it possible to experience a whole world inside the mind.
