What is money? Have you ever thought of this question? We all use money and know what money can do but do we really know the character of money? Money is a medium that can be exchanged for goods and services and is used as a measure of their values on the market, including

among its forms a commodity such as gold, an officially issued coin or note, or a deposit in a checking account or other readily liquefiable account. It is the official currency, coins, and negotiable paper notes issued by a government. Money is an assets and property considered in terms of monetary value.

Finance is the management of money and other assets; it is the science of management of money and other assets. Finance studies and addresses the ways in which individuals, businesses, and organizations raise, allocate, and use monetary resources over time, taking into account the risks entailed in their projects.

The only difference between the rich and the poor is in their thinking. They both think the same but from the opposite point of view. They both look at the same opportunity but see from the different sides in the opportunity. While the poor sees the glass as half empty, the rich sees it as half full. Either empty or full creates or destroy the motivations in life of the rich and the poor. Empty kills your enthusiasm, makes you relax and give up. On the other hand, full empowers you to work harder and make it fuller.

What you say to yourself is very important in the accumulation of wealth. What you say can make or unmake you. The power of life and death is found in your words. If you say you can’t be wealthy I believe you because what you say is more important than what I say. If you open your heart to what am about to say I know you will understand what am about to say and start applying it to your life.

Arkad was known as the richest man in ancient Babylon. He has a very solid financial and business management principles he employed that works for him.  He was famous around and outside his country. He was famous for his great wealth and substance, for his liberality and he was generous to charities. He was a true family man who never neglected his family by pursuing money; he was generous to his family by spending more time with them because he sent his money on errand and the money goes out and comes back with more money. He was liberal in his expenses. He has a cash flow and each year his wealth increases more than he spends. He has more than enough money in his coffers.

A Part of All You Earn is Yours
There are people who work so hard with all their strength, might and energy because they work for money. There are others who employ their money to work for them. Arkad makes his money work for him. He understands financial principles. He knows that money he works hard for does not entirely belong to him.

If you have not acquired more than a bare existence in the years it is either you have failed to learn the laws that govern the building of wealth, or you do not observe them. In his youth Arkad looked about him and saw all the good things there were that will bring happiness and contentment. He realized that wealth increased the potency of all these. Wealth is power. With wealth many things are possible. Wealth gives you the ability to bargain and make more wealth.

Wealth attracts good deals and profitable business opportunities to you. With wealth you can beautify your home with the best of furnishing; you can take a cruise or a holiday that is worthwhile. With wealth you can feast on the finest food and wines, drive the latest cars for nothing. With wealth if you are a religious person you can build mighty temples for God. Wealth is an answer to many things. You have a share of the good things of life but you must be able to claim your share. You cannot claim your share if you are not aware that you have a share in the first instance. You must not be a watch man but you must act to be a recipient of the wealth life has got to offer.

Learning is of two kinds: the one kind being the things we learned and knew and the other is the training that taught us how to find out what we did not know. The road to wealth is so simple; a part of all you earn is yours to keep. All that you earn is not yours to keep but a part of all that you earn is yours so you must understand what part in your earning actually belongs to you. This was the first secret learnt by Arkad from his wealthy mentor Algamish.

You pay the garment maker, you pay the electricity and gas providers, you pay for everything you eat but yet you never pay yourself. You are the one that laboured for the money and you always forget to pay yourself but you pay everyone else. You labour for others. You can’t live here on earth without spending because spending is inevitable so there is every tendency that you might spend all you earn without paying the one most important person that laboured for the earnings. You need some reward and the reward is to pay yourself first.

A part of what you earn is yours to keep and it should not be less than a tenth of no matter how much little you earn. This can be much as you can afford but should never be less than a tenth of all you earn. Wealth is like a tree that grows from a seed that is sown. What you keep for yourself is not for food but it is your mustard seed from which your tree of wealth should grow from. The sooner you plant this seed the sooner your tree shall grow. You must cultivate the tree, prune it and manure it. The more you are faithful in nourishing your seed with more savings the sooner you might become wealthy.

Planting Your Seed of Copper
The seed you kept for yourself is called your copper. All you do is to invest this copper; you task it and send it on an errand. Your copper does the work. This is the most important part of what you do. Soil is the thin layer on the surface of the Earth on which the living beings of the earth survive since it is the layer of materials in which plants have their roots. Soil is made up of many things like weathered rock particles and decayed plant and animal matter. It takes a long time for soil formation and more than thousand years for the formation of a thin layer of soil. Since soil is made up of such diverse materials like broken down rock particles and organic material, it can be classified into various types, though based on the size of the particles it contains. Therefore depending on the size of the particles in the soil, it can be classified into these following types: Sandy soil, Clay soil, Loamy Soil, Peaty Soil and Chalky Soil, etc.

The Children of Your savings
When you invest the part you kept for yourself which is your savings it will bring another earning where you still have new savings from and this is called the children of your savings. What you do with the children of your savings is to reinvest them in something else or use them to increase your savings capital. This is the difference between the poor and the rich.

Many people with poor business mind-set will at this point remember their penniless life and would go out of their way to acquire with the children of their savings all the things they’ve been dying for. A wealthy man has grandchildren and great grandchildren. The point is you keep investing all your children, grand and great grandchildren till you have multitude of generation then you can spend what you want to spend. You need to invest patiently to grow to the level where you have exceeded the level of poverty.

Remember the key is to keep investing and having lots of generation that will work for you. First you must work hard, seek professional advice, employ professional skills and make more money. Then you can have choice wine and all you have dreamt of. Don’t eat your children; make them work smart for you. Every penny you have in your hands for spending is a seed. Send it on an errand to start working for you. Stop working for men but rather make money work for you.
